About the Event

The African Youth Day Conference & Inauguration of the New Leadership of AFYIDEF was a landmark event that brought together youth leaders, policymakers, and creative industry experts to discuss the vital role of arts, culture, and heritage in building the Africa we want.

This significant event was organized in collaboration with the African Union Economic, Social and Cultural Council (AU-ECOSOCC Nigeria), highlighting AFYIDEF's commitment to pan-African cooperation and youth development.

  • Inaugurate the new leadership of AFYIDEF
  • Explore the role of youth in creative industry development
  • Promote African arts, culture and heritage as development tools
